I have read many, many, many judicial opinions ever since I began law school in August 1978. This may be the most remarkable I have ever read. Judge Frederick Biery is a 78-year old federal judge appointed by Bill Clinton. He is the former Chief Judge for the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. He is has senior status now, but he is still working as a federal judge.
